eAc
recognizes the importance of giving back to the community.
Through financial contributions and sharing of engineering
expertise, eAc's goal is to provide students of all ages
with technical knowledge and hands-on experience to advance
interest in the fields of science and engineering through
rocketry and robotics. |
Educational
Seminars
On a regular basis, several eAc employees provide educational
seminars for elementary, middle, and high schools. These
seminars are designed to inform the students about the
science of rocketry and present to them real life experience
in what is sometimes viewed as unfathomable field. If
you are interested in us speaking at your South Florida
area school please feel free to contact us at

High
School Robotics
We are proud to be sponsors of starbot, a Miami based
non-profit organization dedicated to helping high school
students reach their full potential through engineering
and robotics. Their main goal is to give young people
the opportunity, hands-on experience and confidence needed
to help them pursue a rewarding career in science and
engineering. eAc provides funding and machinery donations,
while many eAc employees donate their own time to work
with the students. Visit www.starbotinc.org
for more.
For many years eAc has sponsored a FIRST team made up
of students from several of the local high schools. The
FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational
competition that teams professionals and young people
to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and
competitive way. Get more details at www.usfirst.org
We are currently sponsors for several Battlebots IQ teams
in the Miami area. BattleBots IQ is a comprehensive educational
program where students learn about the science of engineering
through robot building. This unique curriculum fuses mathematics,
physics, and engineering into tangible and relevant lessons
for high school students. By providing an interactive
hands-on learning environment, the BattleBots IQ Tournament
seeks to develop the scientists and engineers of the future.

Sounding Rockets
eAc is involved in the support of the rocketry program
at the Florida Institute of Technology. We are currently
involved in the propulsion system for the FITSat
III program and provide technical support
and possible launch facilities for the Jamstar
program. We are forming a program now to foster the
development of payloads for our Hyperion series of sounding
rockets.
